Noted for his modern interpretations of forms built upon Tanba traditions and materials, Keiichi Shimizu explores three-dimensional interplay of lines and surfaces. Robert Burt - New Work
On its surface, the term “Bling” describes the gold, silver and gemstones that bedazzle contemporary celebrities, specifically those in the music industry. However, the term originates from the commercial sound effect that accompanies the flash, shine, glitz and sparkle that is the result of toothpaste and other “new and improved” cleansing products offered up daily for our consumption. The popularization and proliferation of the term has become synonymous with ostentation, pretension and swagger. The derogatory implications of the term are not vague nor are they subtle.

Center—a respected organization serving all New Mexicans living with HIV. Our DIVAS have created small works especially for this event—a POP auction first and tradition in the making.
We believe in our role in the Santa Fe art community as a force of change –redefining the gallery experience one show at a time.
